Annual Competition Law Conference

This conference explored cutting-edge issues in competition law, bringing together rich economic and legal perspectives on how markets will be regulated and how corporate conduct will be shaped. Participants dived into mergers and information-rich environments, discovering how data and digital payment platforms will influence future competition policy and enforcement. A special panel talked about the emerging world of artificial intelligence, showing how algorithmic tools and digital markets will challenge traditional antitrust thinking. Another session unpacked what “agreement” will mean in an era of public announcements, algorithmic coordination, and evolving concepts of responsibility. Engaging TED-style talks invited attendees to reflect on media and democracy, competition in wartime, regulatory competition, and class actions against cartels, creating a dynamic space for debate and networking.
