Prof. Keun Lee

Prof. Keun Lee is a Distinguished Professor of Chung-Ang University and an emeritus at Seoul National University, a Fellow of the CIFAR, the President of the Korean Economic Association, and the chairman of the Center for Economic Catch-up. He is also an editor of Research Policy and an associate editor of Industrial and Corporate China. He is the winner of the 2014 Schumpeter Prize for his monograph on Schumpeterian Analysis of Economic Catch-up, and also the 2019 Kapp Prize by EAEPE. Also, the EBES awarded him the title of EBES Fellow of the Year 2023. He writes regularly for Project Syndicate. Previously, He served as the Vice-chairman of the National Economic Advisory Council for the chair and President of Korea; as the President of the International Schumpeter Society in the years 2016 to 2018; as a member of the Committee for Development Policy of the UN in the years 2013 to 2018; and as a GFC member of the World Economic Forum in the years 2016 to 2019. He obtained a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley. His total citations received are about 16,000, with an H-index of 59 and an I-10 index of 165 (Google Scholar)
