New Position: Prof. Tal Zarsky got appointed to be in the Experts Forum for National Preparedness for Artificial Intelligence

The Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Technology has announced the formation of Israel’s National AI Expert Forum, comprising 40 leading figures from academia, industry, and civil society.

The forum is tasked with advising the government on national strategy, regulatory frameworks, public sector integration, and ethical implementation of artificial intelligence.

Among its distinguished members is Prof. Tal Zarsky, Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Haifa and a prominent scholar in law and technology. Prof. Zarsky’s inclusion reflects the growing significance of interdisciplinary legal expertise in shaping AI governance.

The forum will convene regularly and operate under the Ministry’s Center for AI Policy and Regulation.
